OVERVIEW

The Tour Caddy Essentials program is an on-line learning program that has been designed to equip aspiring tour caddies with the knowledge and confidence to take on the tole of a tour caddy. Successful completion of the course results in becoming a TCEP certified tour caddy and the option to register with the International Tour Caddy Register.

The program takes approximately 4 hours to complete if the optional videos and articles are selected.

A fee of $79 is payable to complete the course, receive certification and be listed on the International Tour Caddy Register.

• Caddy lingo and phraseology
• How to interpret a yardage book
• What to say and not to say
• A step-by-step guide to game day

Assessment

A few of the lesson modules contain multiple choice questions. You will need to answer all these correctly to move to the next lesson module. Do not worry! If you get one wrong you will be returned to the question to adjust your answer until it is correct.

Outcomes

• TCEP Tour Caddy qualified
• TCEP Certificate (to assist in securing employment as a caddy)
• Option to list with the International Caddy Register

Whilst the content of this course is sound and important there is no substitute for the experience gained from real caddying assignments. TCEP Certification will help significantly in securing employment as a caddy but cannot guarantee employment.
